MARCHSTAR: WordPress Theme

Download March Star here.
American Military University inspired me to make such template.
The theme utilizes a set of contact-page form with simple CAPTCHA and page counter.
Footer uses a photograph taken by Eunike. You may freely use and make any other alterations you wish on any version of this theme, as long as all the link in the footer and the comments in the css remain intact.
How to install:
- Unpack this archive in your wp-content/themes/ directory.
- Go to Admin WordPress and select presentation.
- Select “March Star” theme
- Open header.php, locate this line: and change the words as you like or leave it as is.The words appear below the ‘blog description’ box
- If you prefer the page counter to not appears, locate the line begins with and remove code line within header.php If your server doesnt allow PHP file to read/write/create file, create a file on your ‘public_html’ or ‘www’ folder name “counter.txt” and CHMOD it manually to 777 or 666. But if you dont need this counter feature, deactivate it by remove this code in header.php
- To make “Contact Form” with simple CAPTCHA active, first: change your Permalink structure to another than standard structure that contains question mark (’?'). This ‘?’ within your blog URL make contact form can’t appears. Then, make a page with postname (or called “slug” in previous version of WP) defined as “contact-us”. If you dont know what is postname or slug things, just create a new page with title “Contact Us”, and the contact form would appears in that page
All these features dont need any plugins installed. All can be done via wp-admin dashboard. - You’re done. Enjoy it!
